Changelog
What's new — currently on beta 2.5. Updated often during the beta.

Real country flags & a sharper editor
- NewCountry flag emoji (🇺🇦 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 …) now render as real flags instead of falling back to letter boxes like “UA”.
- The Layers list now stays in step with the canvas: pick a layer on the canvas and its row lights up, and click any element on the canvas to jump straight to its properties.
- Hover a layer in the Layers list to preview it on the canvas — its outline lights up, then clears the moment you move away.
- Text boxes now snap to the same alignment guides as everything else when you move or resize them.
- Fixed the editor stuttering for a moment on every edit — dragging and typing are smooth again.
- The stroke-alignment button now appears only when a layer actually has an outline, instead of sitting there with nothing to align.
- The “Generate link” button is always ready now — it no longer greys out.
- Better hand-written links: layer transparency is written as a plain percent, an out-of-range size or transparency is nudged to the nearest valid value instead of failing, and a wrong link’s error now lists every option that layer type accepts so it’s easy to fix.

Text boxes, steadier emoji & mobile fixes
- New — text in a box: give a text layer a width and height, and it wraps to fit AND shrinks itself so it always sits inside the box. Great for captions, balances and labels whose length you can’t predict.
- Pick how the box wraps — by whole words, or letter-by-letter for tight boxes and long unbroken strings.
- Align text inside its box both ways — left/centre/right AND top/middle/bottom.
- Resize the box by dragging its frame directly; the frame now rotates and skews together with the text instead of stretching it.
- Emoji now reposition the instant you change a text’s font, size or style — they used to stay put until you clicked away and back.
- Fixed some fonts (e.g. Oswald) failing to render a text box at all.
- On phones, a long-press to nudge an element no longer pops the menu — it opens only on a still press, and closes the moment you start dragging.
- On phones, the colour picker no longer opens partly off the bottom of the screen.
-
Cleaner links & more ways to edit
- Multi-select on phones: tap the new select button, then drag a box around layers (or tap them) to pick several at once — pinch still zooms while you do.
- Align a layer to any edge or centre of the canvas — new buttons in the layer toolbar.
- Round several rectangle-like layers at once — a corner-radius field appears when you select them (text in the mix is skipped).
- Touch resize handles are tuned so small elements are easy to MOVE, not just resize.
- Fixed text being cut off at the first comma — "Hello, World" now renders in full.
- Fixed the % sign breaking a design — "50% OFF" now renders instead of failing.
- Fixed links breaking for any font whose name has a space (Balsamiq Sans, Great Vibes… — most of the catalogue).
- Generated links are now much easier to read — commas, colons and apostrophes appear as themselves instead of codes like %252C, and links come out shorter. Links you shared earlier keep working exactly as before.
- Fixed a text outline set to "inside" or "centre" coming out as "outside" in the generated image.
- Fixed a black outline on text disappearing from the generated image — black is the default colour, so this hit the most common case.
- The text selection box now hugs the text right away — on create and as you type (it used to lag until you nudged the layer).
- Clicking from one layer to another no longer leaves the previous layer's highlight behind for a moment.
- The Layers tab no longer jumps you back to the editor when you hide a layer.
- The bottom sheet now has a clear top edge, even over a white design, and no longer flashes open for a moment when the page loads.
- Fixed the desktop "hide panel" button that had gone missing after the mobile update.
- Fixed a false "Canvas capped at 2000px" warning that could show on a perfectly small canvas.
- Dragging a value field (X, Y, width, height, rotation…) moves in clean whole steps again — no stray decimals.
- The editor now loads already framed — no more flicker/jump while it centres your canvas.
-
IMGENX on your phone
- The whole editor now works on phones — the old 'desktop only' screen is gone.
- Touch gestures: drag one finger to move around the canvas, pinch two fingers to zoom, and tap to select.
- Move, resize and rotate elements with your finger.
- The properties panel is now a bottom sheet you can drag up or down to resize.
- Tap the zoom percentage to fit your whole design on screen.
- On mobile, choosing a font opens a full-screen, searchable list.
- A cleaner 'Generate link' dialog, plus tidied-up welcome and what's-new screens on phones.
-
QR colours, rounded images & smoother editing
- QR codes now have their own background colour, separate from the pattern colour.
- Rounded corners now work on images and QR codes, not just rectangles.
- New images start at a handy 600×400 size instead of covering the whole canvas.
- Undo and redo now bring your selection back, so you can carry on where you left off.
- The colour picker is simpler — opacity is a 0–100% field you can drag, and it no longer gets cut off by the side panel.
- Typing a new width, height, radius or font size now updates the selection box straight away.
- Fixed generated images breaking when the text was just a number (like a price or a year).
-
Public beta
- First public release — design on the canvas, then turn it into a live image link you can embed anywhere.
- Rectangles, text, images and QR codes, with move, resize, rotate, skew and flip.
- Colour emoji and mixed languages (including Cyrillic) in text.
- Every design is a compact link, so the same URL always renders the same image.
